I have a k20a2 with a pretty good build, and have a friend with a rsx that he bought a new motor for and it ended up being a k20a crate motor. So he got everything installed in the car and vtec won't engage. The car is at a lot and is intended just for sale only, so his primary concern is getting it running correctly. I have kpro and can tune mine for whatever is needed, but he doesn't want to fork out the extra money for that. So I was thinking swapping heads may fix the issue? I know his ecu is american running signals to a japanese head with different stock configurations. I figure the vtec is set to engage lower so the kpa for the window probably doesn't match. That's just a guess though. Any input on what could be wrong? Thank you so much!
