Hey guys,
I’m in the process of building an a2, it has a fully built bottom end (built by JBR engines) with arias 10:1 pistons on 86.5mm bore, Carrillo rods, and everything else brand new. My question is, will a stock a2 head be able to withstand 400-500whp as a daily? Or should I go ahead and add some super tech springs, retainers, and valves? I plan to set the limiter to around the 8400rpm range for reliability’s sake but I also want to beat on it from time to time. Before I bolt it together I’d like to hear somebody’s more experienced input. Thanks.
