i saw a video on youtube where a guy had gotten an alarm system or something which allowed him to start his RSX by just pressing a button on the key. I want. He also had the TL switchblade key mod.
but anyway does anyone know what this is, about what it would cost, and where i could get it?

you'll need an aftermarket alarm capable of remote start (the feature you saw on the video)

search around for compustar and viper alarms

both good quality alarm companies and many of their alarm systems feature the remote start feature

viper's website: http://www.viper.com/

compustar's website: http://www.compustar.com/

NOTE: in most places (all?) remote start on a manual transmission is illegal as the car will drive off or atleast jump forward if left in gear and remote started via the remote

EDIT: for example, when i had my viper alarm installed (which has the option of remote start) the factory i brought it to wouldn't install remote start for me due to liability

I do know that many places wont install due to liability, and many remote start manufacturers state that their products are not intended to be installed on manual vehicles. However, I don't think there are any actual laws in place against this. I could be wrong.

I know most do have wiring that is intended to be connected to the neutral safety wire, which basically wont allow the car to start unless its in a neutral or park position. In which case, it wouldnt be harmful to have installed.

that could be the case, i thought i'd read/heard it was illegal to but i could be wrong

if done correctly, there won't be issues. i just don't know that many places would do it so it won't start when left in gear

If you purchase a remote start that is designed for manual transmission cars (Compustar for example), you will not have a problem. There are safety features in place that will ensure there is no possibility the car will start in gear.

Get either Clifford or Viper(Literally, same shit) The install for remote start is an extra 90ish bucks on top of the 100ish install for the alarm.
