So, I took in my car today for some work done to it, like oil change, new brakes, etc. There, I noticed my taillight/brakelight has burned out again. I know that we have burned through quite a bit of bulbs on the car. I do know that my buddy had a 05 type s, and had alot of light issues (particularly the headlights, but also burned out alot of taillights)

Is this a common problem to you guys, or is it just a coincidence that we both have had some light issues? I know that the light bulbs seem to go out faster than any other car me, or my family, has owned before.

I've replaced driver and passenger-side low beams once, and that's it in 6.5 years and 110k miles. Bulbs will burn out if the voltage to them is too high or too low. Check the voltage to the bulb while the bulb is on, and as close to the bulb as possible. Too low voltage means there is extra resitance in the wiring or connections.
