Would this bolt grade be strong enough for the lower control arm?
Grade 5 SAE?

there should be a number on the stock bolt. If you don't have that just go to Acura and get one. Its cheap and peace of mind. Besides bolt is in metric when you buy from acura, everything else out there is in standard(mostly).

Well i can't use the stock bolt anymore. Plus they are 15 bucks a bolt at Acura. It's not for the RSX it for my bro's 97 teg. Just wondering if someone knows anything about bolt grading

yeah, the higher the number the stronger it is. The downside is that with higher number, it won't bent like lower number, it would just snap. I don't know what the stock grade is on lower control arm, you can check with documentation, either online or ask acura and they should be able to tell you. I think its somewhere around grade 6 or 7.
