So to start off I picked up the car summer of 2012 off craiglist in the Carlisle area. It had 102k on it, cracked windshield from hood flying back and had a rough idle.

But it did have K-pro and was a PWP type s. Later found out motor mounts were broken and i was missing washer reservoir assembly and had bad evap vent shut valve too. Still had rough idle and eventually decided to check if it was a bad spark plug. Found out one of the plugs wasn't even hand tight :face: He also epoxied this stupid little thermal bypass valve back together instead of just deleting it.

So the repair work began right away since i needed to replace the windshield for inspection. I also removed and plugged that previous mentioned valve. I purchased some shiny new motor mounts too :D

While at school (degree in collision repair) I decided to fix all the little dents and got a new hood and front bumper and front lip. also got new yellow fogs for new front bumper.

Someone decided to key it. Thankfully before I started the body work.

All done:

Got cheap set of Racelands cause stock struts were leaking/blown and wasnt gonna pass inspection with them so cheaper alternative was Racelands. Also painted stock wheels

Did some minor upgrades. Solved the missing reservoir issue and upgraded the air intake at same time. I dont have rear wiper so I only bought spray pump for the front and plugged other hole. Had to order new filler neck too.

Then last New Years day i managed to hit a deer at 3pm on a highway (was going 65mph)

Fast forward 4 months

C-West front bumper
Seibon Carbon fiber hood

Also did black interior swap, bought set of Corbeau seats and floor mats to match. Radio was broken from hitting the deer but insurance wouldn't cover it so I picked up open box discontinued model for dirt cheap from BestBuy. Also got quick release and lockout (previous car stolen/stripped) cause I'm paranoid now.

That's everything from start to now, one post down lol hopefully more to come

Awesome work man

Everything looks great. I was super blessed that my car wasnt in worse shape. And we are both lucky to even still be walking. Great job bringing her back to life and giving her that makeover she always deserved haah :laughing:Love the interior. That's gonna be my next project after body and paint is complete.

I actually missed the mom and hit the fawn right behind her. Punted the fawn into the air. Cars behind me were shocked how far it flew.

The mom probably would've went through windshield. Hood got pushed back and cracked windshield. I'm on 3rd windshield since i bought the car:ugh:

Haha the kick is up, its good!! Lol damn deer always jumping in front of cars. I didn't even see the damn thing.
It was at night and I literally looked down to change my radio and bang. Prob saved my life not seeing it. Cause natural instincts would have been to swerve. Glad you made it out alive and that your car is in better shape now than before. At least insurance paid for yours. They didn't touch mine. I thought I was covered but insurance told me I didn't have comprehensive coverage :laughat: <how I felt Lol

Mine was at 3pm on highway on New Years day, median was a hill so you couldnt see opposing traffic. Came around gentle curve and saw them running down and hit the brakes. I chipped in about $400 but insurance overpriced my headlights by $300 thats how i could get hood and legit C-West front bumper

man you really smashed that deer!
yea haha notanevo repaired whole front end at his shop :fistbump: benefits of having him 30min away

I wouldve taken on the project myself but i didnt have time with school and was a bit extensive. Wouldve taken me much longer than him since hes got quite a bit more experience than me.
