Most comfortable suspension type for RSX?

Hello,

I've had some entry level to mid range adjustable Tein coilovers on my car for about 5 years now and prob 95k miles. I'm pretty sure my suspension system as a whole is shot. I'm looking to replace my current coilovers.

But this is where I need advice from some seasoned pros like you: my clear-cut #1 priority is to have a comfortable and less bumpy ride. I like my car being slightly lowered, but that's not the top priority.

So, should I go back to stock suspension system? Should I buy more expensive coilovers? If so, are Ksport pretty good and would they present a relatively comfortable ride?

Thanks

OEM suspension or the aftermarket equivalent will always be the most comfortable.

BIG NO ON KSPORT. The fronts have issues and you won't be able to lower the front no matter how you adjust it.

Wow glad you said something, I was starting to settle on getting Ksport Kontrol Pros for the RSX. Even though they say they're adjustable they still won't be able to lower the front? Thanks

Yep no problem. I still have them and waiting to get new ones. If you look at the forums on Herr about ksport. You'll see some people were never able to lower the front below the tire at all. The rear can get really low but my front is literally above tire.

A good resonable comfortable set up is tru hart. They are to be used with lowered springs, not stock height. For 250+ springs you get a good comfy ride. Excellant reviews and I've rode "in" them. Nice and worth a look.

I ran older Tanabe Sustecs and were amazing actually , fun sporty feel yet super comfortable. Tein Flex Z. Similar are those what you had?

If I didn’t want to go lower I may have stayed with either of those two. Everyone’s perception of ride is different so it’s tough but those for a daily driver and occasional shitty road suspension are wonderful for the just over $1k range in my opinion anyway.
I now run Fortune 500 with swift coils and likely will never will look back due to the customize ability and upgradeability/rebuild ability domestically but they’re in big time different price ranges and If you don’t care to go lower than say 1” or so those first two would be pretty hard to beat in the price range vs ride performance plus they’re both Japan made as well (Tanabe Sustec (the ones I had anyway) , Tein Flex-Z) if that matters to you.
