Hey what up Guys,
im 27years old and living in Germany / Bavaria.
Im a painter and also do bodywork, everything myself, so i build a couple of Hondas before...like my own EK Coupe K24 Drag Civic, and also a EK Coupe H22 swap, and other ones. I worked a lot on American Customers Cars, cuz they are pretty close to where i live, and get in touch with me if they needed anything back in the days.
In february my Japan Import DC5 came in. Its in PERFECT condition.
Base Model, Automatic...but not for a long time.
So here is my Story...feel free to ask anything anytime
Here is the first shot when i picked it up
Its a Base Model Automatic like i said, but still a K20A engine like you see on the Japanese Title, cause the japanese never had the last letters. All of them were K20A
I got some temporary plates and cleand up the car, did the bushings on the front control arms and the bearings, also put some new longer wheel studs for the front.
I googled for low DC5´s and read often that some famous DC5´s are sittin on Raceland / Rokkor coilovers. The German Inspection also told me,the TÜV Certification (German Inspection) also says, its the smaller Company of BC Racing. However...here is it,and still could go lower
Then i had the chance to get a replica Mugen Bumper for a facelift
Bought a replica Mugen Wing, and damaged DC5R wheels with 225/45-17 Tires and paint them Smokey Dark Grey, painted the brake calipers in bright Blue. Ordered 05-06 Headlights without HIDs from RSXPARTSMANN,really cool guy from the USA
The fitment was really bad and i tried to fix that, but it dont work. the upper part was to short. So i made a negative form of the oem grill and look how it works
A friend got his own Import Company and made his first meeting, and my Friend with his DC5R was showin up there with me. Cause the Bumper was still in progress,i just taped it of
And the nitemare goes on...
Always checkin the fitment
Cruisin around with my friends 350z Nismo Serial Number 002,and my primed Mugen Bumper
