ok i spent a total of 3 hours onit so far 1 from yesterday and 2 from today
so far ive gotten the backs of both driver and passenger seats and the headrests of both seas in the back as well
i have started stitching the back seat itself but got tired and the sun was setting so i called it a day
as for the black leather cleaner i couldnt find any only thing was shoe polish and im not gonna go that route lol i figured since factory stitching gray color didnt bother me then it shouldnt bother me now
thanks again for looking and feedback whether its good or bad
not unless you restitch it and im not gonna do that and shoe polish is the only thing ive found to remove the white and ima not doin that either lol
i did do some research the guy who did the blue stitching used this yarn from walmart
i just came back from walmart i picked me up a wound of it
size 10 is the size and i got it in red
its WAY thicker than the thread that i was using
hes put over 15k miles on his car since hes done the stitching and it still looks great
i redid the back part of my driver side headrest for about 5 minutes to compare the difference between the 2 threads i was using
BIG difference ima have to redo everything again which is fine its just spare time which i have a lot of and its a learning experience
it covers up the white stitching a lilbit better it does a really good job of taking your eyes off the white stitching as well
ima do a short video on this and put it in the DIY section when i am coming to a conclusion i should have all of this done by sunday
