my car revs is dropping really low when i rev the engine to 2000 or greater than release the throttle. it drops to 500 then the iacv brings it up back to 800 quickly.
i changed my throttle body, so that means new iacv, new tps, and used map sensor. the tps is in range....im getting .47 closed throttle and 4.5 wot. i have done some reading about the idle duty, but it can be only changed with kpro...i cannot afford kpro.
is there a way to reset the ecu completely.....i tried removing the battery terminal to reset it. but that didn't work.
Did you remove all the fuses and repeat the idle learn procedure?
EXACTLY as in the helms?
2005-2006 models
Procedure

ECM/PCM Idle Learn Procedure
The idle learn procedure must be done so the ECM/PCM
can learn the engine idle characteristics.
Do the idle learn procedure whenever you do any of
these actions:
• Disconnect the battery.
• Replace the ECM/PCM or disconnect its connector.
• Replace or clean the throttle body.
• Reset the ECM/PCM.
NOTE: Erasing DTCs with the HDS does not require
you to do the idle learn procedure.
• Remove the No. 6 ECU (ECM/PCM) (15 A) fuse from
the under-hood fuse/relay box.
• Remove the No. 19 battery (100 A) fuse fromthe
under-hood fuse/relay box.
• Remove PGM-FI main relay 1 (FI MAIN).
• Remove any of the wires from the under-hood fuse/
relay box
• Disconnect any of the connectors from the
under-hood fuse/relay box.
• Disconnect the connector between the engine
compartment wire harness and ECM/PCM wire
harness.
• Disconnect the G2 terminal from the transmission
housing.
• Disconnect the G1 terminal from the body.
• Disconnect the G101 terminal from the water passage.
1. Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at
3,000 rpm without load (in park or neutral) until the
radiator fan comes on, or until the engine coolant
temperature reaches 194 °F (90 °C).
2. Let the engine idle for about 5 minutes with the
throttle fully closed.
NOTE: If the radiator fan comes on, do not include
its running time in the 5 minutes.

window defogger, lights, etc.) are off.
2. Reset the ECM/PCM with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and wait 2 seconds.

On another thought, is there anyone with Kpro local to you who can run some the parameters and log your idle so you know exactly what is going on AFR wise and such?
yes ive done idle learn many times.i dont know anyone with kpro....it looks like its a know honda problem cause hondata tells u how to get rid of it with kpro by setting the idle duty cycle. is there any way it could be changed without kpro.
