New Brake Pads...

374 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  olsenisgod
so I recently had my brake pads changed (only the fronts) and it feels like the place I brought it too didn't install them. the brakes are still making noise when braking...like a metallic sound you would hear when the pads are worn down. Is there a break in on new brake pads or something? Maybe the place I brought it to didn't bother installing the pads on my car?

You should be able to tell just by looking at the pads through the wheel spokes.
what do you mean they didnt install them?? yea youll see the pad, maybe its the rotors. im actaully having an issue but i wont be able to tell until after new brake pads . i think my problem is the rotors cuz there were a few times where i had to use my breaks at high speeds and my rotors feel warped. For now more engine breaking!!!

well they said my rotors were fine....that they weren't "cracked" or anything.
