New polyurethane control bushings already broken

Hello all!

I have a 2005 Acura RSX base model with Tein coilovers (had these for about 90k miles). 285k miles currently.

As the title suggests, I just paid a someone to replace my front control arm bushings. He insisted on me buying my own parts. I ended up deciding to go with polyurethane bushings. I got them new off eBay. However, I fear they may be cheaply made. Thats what i get for trying to cut costs thia time... replacing my front brake pads last night, I noticed one totally broke, another looking rough. They were replaced 4 months ago, can't be over 4k miles since

So, what could cause this? Cheap material? Not enough grease? Suspension issues? All of the above? My front suspension seems okay but the rears I think are shot... already at stiffest height, very bouncy, bottoming out on bumps, etc. but that's another discussion because I doubt that would have anything to do with these bushings... Upon reflection, I'd probably like rubber bushings since I prefer a softer and smoother ride. Regardless, frustrating to see this damage.

Any help about probable root causes will be very much appreciated. Thanks all!

I bet! Honestly they look kinda cheap to me? As in there not suspention techniques. They just look soft. As for struts even tien wear out sometime and 90K is some time in on the job ya know. I've never used anything but Suspention techniques so IDK all I do know is I've never had a problem with them, at all. You may have to regrease them from time to time but that's it. But yeah what You got now is some shot bushings. How you go and what you replace them with is up to you.
i just installed whiteline front and rear bushing for my front control arms on my ep3 while doing a clutch install, and so far so good. and the clutch has been working out great too. (y)
Nice. Yeah I'll I know the bushing replacement is pretty labor intensive, and cant help from wondering if my suspension is why these red ones busted so soon or if it was just defective. But I may get some rubber ones instead this time but may wait since I just replaced them a few months ago

get energy suspension ones. I run them on both my cars, one which has seen two track events and will see one every 2 weeks during summer.
Do it right! Or do it twice! Looks like you're gunna have to do it twice!

Quality over quantity!

Why not just k24 swap?
Not only did I think about it, but it was suggested to me. In hind site I have way more in the head. The bottom end is getting bearings,(king) pistons (Nippon) and chyro treated rings. Doesn't need a fresh bore it only had 110k on it. That's it so I can make that move at a later date. As long as it's taking me to build this thing, I'm single now so that should help? The extra labor would have stretched me thin. Pitiful I know....
