As I was driving into work this morning, the guy ahead of me started to wash his windsheild, and got my car wet. Looking closer at the droplets, I noticed that they were black. My car ended up getting sprayed with oil some how. About 200 small oil droplets.:firemad: :firemad: :firemad:

Can someone tell me of a regular car wash will completely remove the oil residue, or will I need to give it some special attention.

Most car washes should do the trick.

If not, you have 2 options:
- Use a cleaner/degreaser (Simple Green, Meguiar's Extra).
- Use Dawn or some sort of dish soap

Both are designed to cut through oils and grease. Disturbingly enough, motor oil behaves a lot like vegetable oil when dish soaps gets to it. You'll have to rewax the area you clean, since the cleaners will strips the wax, but they won't harm your paint.
