Actually some local guys, Voodoo 13, make some rears I'm going to look at.Just get the Ingalls or SPC. Pretty sure they make both and are sold though kseriesparts.com (the former ClubRSX store).
BTW, Kpro FTW! :jelly: It's less expensive than drugs, sex, and alcohol :rotfl: or gambling
Belated thx, man. :fistbump:welcome!
Thx, mang. I'm a young fucker @ heart :giggity:Sweet man its always seeing an older fella work on these cars and moving in the right direction!
Keep it up, I like what you have done already and your plans for it. Cant wait to see this car progress.
Thx, man, for the insight, I appreciate it. I'm 64 next month. More when I get home. Got Mugen SS and r. sway on.and it doesn't even drive like the same car. It's greatHey, you say old. How old? From my experience I find that OEM on the track goes around quicker and smoother than my Rotrex 388,5 hp with more than 250 tq. Be very thoughtful on how you plan on modding your car. More HP is not always Mo Better. If I were you, and it's just me, I would do bolt ons and a tune but make sure you do the LSD. I would never trade my quaiffe for any of the mods I've done. I was pushing 217 to the wheels with CAI Injen, RBC mani, Hondata gasket PLM header (fucking garbage), Thermal 3 inch hella sweet and Kpro with tune. You may have smaller cams than Z1 but I would get her like that. Doing a suspension? I mean I guess, I wouldn't do coilovers that are only good on the track. Hopefully the Mugens are better than stock. I think the price is better than Jeffery Dahmer's price but not by much. I think the )02-04 needs a little lower but other than that I could see an all motor 2.7 build. Now that should be low key. ;-P
Right on, I'm making over my suspension, bushings, brakes and clutch at the moment. I got a set of the KW Variant 2's. I'm glad you like it. I am more than sure that if you do the bolt-ons with LSD and tune you will love the new car. It will definitely feel a lot faster and it will take most of the new stuff with 8 cylinders that are stock on the street. I have kept up with Vettes, beaten Camaros, Mustangs and a few other semi exotic cars. You will love you a set of the Dunlop Direzza Z2's.Thx, man, for the insight, I appreciate it. almost 64 and saying mang :rotfl: u are a young fucker at heart  ktuned shifters look pretty, but I hear way better things about Hybrid Racing's shifter. The 2-3 shift of HR's is supposedly wayyy better than Ktuned's, unless you get shifter stops, and a 5th gear lock out, HR's shifter may save your shift fork with hard shifts and a blown motor from missing shifts, at least this is the direction I'm going. Typespaz did an awesome review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD8s10w9D5QThx, mang. I'm a young fucker @ heart
Hey,
Old guy, retired but not dead, decided to get a new hobby and picked up a one owner, 50-something old single lady, Type-S w/ 210K on it. Runs like a top w/ exception of 3rd gear being fussy and needing a little extra attention when shifting.
Can't believe how much I've learned in just a few weeks reading thru threads. Great site, guys!
Want an eventual look that is more subtle/sleeper w/ as many oem, or related, parts as possible. Just ordered a Mugen Sport Suspension and picked up some '04 TL-S rims that were chromed, 17x8 +45. Gonna wait to see how the susp kit looks before deciding what spacers I might want.
Next will probably replace a lot of bushings and usual high mileage things. If anyone knows of any well known problems w/ hi mile 2003 please let me know.
Eventually want a K24 franken w/ aftercooler CTE around 250-300 hp for a street enthusiast ride.
Looking forward to seeing the stance on the Mugen kit.
