I have a long drive tomorrow and i was checking fluids and tire pressure b4 the trip.... I thought my coolant was way lower than it was and actually topped my resivoir off. I tried to syphon some oout but only got a bit out... What should i do .. or am I good. Its dark out and i just know that its way over the max point.

its going to get boiled out
Slowly loosen the coolant drain plug and let a little drip out into a pan or something, then when you turn on the car again and let it idle for a little while the extra coolant in the reservoir will move into the radiator and check the coolant level again when it's cold and you should be good
shit i have to wake up @ 5 am and drive 2 hours... i tried the drain plug, it feels like its seized on there... i dont know what to do. I dont want to try to hard and break something down there,, my radiator is getting old
I just took my off with my hands. It's only plastic threads so it's not like it can be rusted on there
alright thnaks... my radiator hass seen lots of salt and it kinda looks like shit. Thaks ill give it another whirl
BTW your shit is sick... always loved a good turbo sleeper

TY TY
what the hell is gonna happen if i cant get this thing off. imean worst case senario?
it will overflow and could pop ur radiator cap.
Ya you could also just take off the radiator cap and let the car idle till the coolant gets hot and then some will leak out the top the radiator down to your plastic covers, then put the cap back on, that way it doesn't pop off later
use a baster, or use a straw, stick it in as far as you can and covering the other end with your finger till it goes down lol
Nothing is going to happen. The shit will boil over. Not sure here but every car I have ever looked closely at has a coolant overflow tube for just this thing.

That would be the ghetto way out but if you can't loosen that hose, I'd recommend this also, won't really hurt anything, just let some overflow out, then when she cools down, put the cap on.

that's what i was thinking too
