02 RSX, manual, base model.
Got the P0138 code; 02 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2
Replaced the second 02 sensor, after the Cat.
Engine light came on again.
Ran the code, same code P0138

Would replacing the first 02 sensor stop the P0138 code from coming up again?
Advice?
Thanks!

It might, and it might not. Search that CEL on here, there's countless threads. See attached pages from the manual for troubleshooting steps. The whole manual is available for download on here.

No it should not because of the specific code you got. Both O2 sensors have completely different functions.
Pri O2 sensor determines fuel trim, long and short term. It basically compensates for dirty injectors, clogged air filters, or other mods you have done to your engine.
The Sec O2 only determines if your catalytic converter is functioning properly. It has no effect on MPG or fuel trim.
The P0138 code is not for a worn out O2 sensor. It is most likely a short or break in the wiring, so I'd start there. If you don't see anything obvious, I would follow the steps in the PDF posted above, to determine if there is a break in the wiring somewhere, and if the new O2 is working correctly.
