Can somebody list all the performance mods for rsx that would work well with automatic rsx as well. And post price for them if possible as well. And a gain in HP from each. I dont mean superchargers or turbos, just some minor mods to gain extra 30 hp or something like that. Also whats the name of that wing that most rsx's have? Like the white RSX in this pic

i'm guessing that you just bought an rsx?
but anyways...the first things i would do is get the basic bolt on's (i.e. i/h/e)
if you have the cash to throw around i would get the injen cai, evoII exhaust and mabey the dc race headers.
but the only way you are going to get major power out of the auto is to go FI or a swap.

I don't think you can up it by 30hp. Maybe by 3hp by putting in CAI. Or you could just put in K&N filter and get 2hp and save up money. You can gut the stock airbox to maybe gain extra 1hp. Hurray~!

You'll get a lot more than 3 with a CAI

if you wanted performance, why did you get the base auto? The type S already has 40 more hp. Anyways, don't go nuts trying to get it to go faster, what you can improve is how the car turns, and thus you'll take advantage of the base's slightly faster acceleration on the lower 2 gears in the autocross.

For this you should:
1. replace tires with good ones ($400-500)
2. JDM Rear Sway Bar ($90-100)
3. Rear strut tower bar ($130 ish)
4. Front strut tower bar ($120 ish)

Practice practice practice...

There's really no sense in trying to squeese more HP out of the base, especially when there's only VTEC on the intake valves, vs. the type S has it on both intake and exhaust.

also other than CAI, the intake bolt ons will actually DECREASE your torque on the low end, which is horrible since our cars barely have any to begin with. With V2, SRI, etc. you're not getting more than 10 hp at best.

The only real performance that will significantly change the base engine performace is nitrous or the cybernation turbo for auto which costs about $3,500, which if you think about it, isn't worth it since that's the difference between the buying the base auto vs. the type S.

cybernation is the only kit out so far that can be used for the base
the greddy and hks kit thats soon to be released probably can be used but you would have to use a different "e-manage" system
the guardian system from cybernation probably will work with either kit when it comes out
or just build your own custom turbo set up .. there are a few base RSX's here on the boards with a custom turbo

Isn't that turbo kit not CARB approved in CA, o well sucks for me! But yea i would go with the suspension upgrades first, and like everybody else said, basic bolt on's.

it was some info about performance torque converters, tranny cooler, ect. I don't remeber where I put it, it was somewhere in the base section though. I used to research mods for the base auto since I had one since early 02. I kinda forgot about it all since I've stop having a need to mod a base auto.

Nice Dyno numbers by the way. When you race from a roll, do you put the car in N and rev it up to spool the turbo quicker or do you just mash the pedal to the floor?
