Not yet. I just installed it about a month ago. Laser seems very rare in CT. I have been hit with laser only once with my old Cobra detector in New Britain, CT.

I just got hit with a laser last night for the first time with my ZR3. It was late at night, drizzling, and very dark. I was doing only 10mph over the speed limit on the highway. My 8500 (linked to my ZR3) alarmed and displayed that there was a laser hitting me from the front, but I didn't see any cops. Then it started "shifting". I slowed down and turned off the shifting so that I wouldn't attract any attention. A few seconds later, I see a unmarked black cop car sitting in the side of the road with his lights off. Escort saves again!!!

The button under the cruise control switch is for the fog lamps and the button next to the mirror control pad is the mute button for the 8500 and ZR3. The bulbular thing on my steering wheel is a Sony IR Remote (RM-X6S) for the mp3 deck...
