Hey guys, I'm installing my manly pistons for a turbo setup.looking to get around 500hp+ I've looked on the manley info sheet and came up with a gap for the top ring which is .01523" (bore x .0045") and the second ring gap is .01185" (bore x .0035") my bore is 86mm or 3.38583". I was just wondering if I can get some feedback on this and if this seems right?

Thanks in advance

truthfully I would call up the company. When I was building my engine I called up the company I got my pistons from and they helped me out tremendously.

If you're doing a race only motor that seems a little tight but I would call Manley and ask if they think you should loosen it up if you're doing it for a street application

Thanks for the response guys, I called Manley and he said for the top ring it should be around .018-.019 and the second ring should be .015. I measured them before filing it and it was already .018 and .015 for the second ring
