Try this for resealing them. Blow into one of the holes and block the other with your hand. I think there is only two holes. It will check for leaks by pressursing the light housing. Track down the leak then seal over it and wait for it to dry. Then try again.

I haven't tried this but I think it will work.

To be sure, just put a coat of silicone all around the edges.

Filling it with water is stupid as sh!t for that exact reason. :iamwiths:

Hoever blowing into it for a short time will introduce such a small amount of moisture that its not an issue. The reason I was saying this is even if you cover every area it might not take in a corner or whatever and then you have a leak. It needs to be pressurised to make sure it has sealed. While yes you could argue that compressed air will be cleaner and have less moisture in it, and you would be correct. However I'll just wait 5 minutes and any moisture will have evaporated away.

I have found condensation on my headlights...and I didn't even open them to black them out! They are JDM's.

I found that the most common reason for condensation is poor plasment of the gasket around the H1 bulbs.

yup I had condensation on my JDM, so i just pushed the little rubber gasket in some more and it was fixed:thumbsup:

i fixed mine
just put your high beams and low beams on a the same time

use a heat gun from a distance to get the moisture off the lens..
the fog will move to around the bulbs(chrome part)
then undo the parking light and turn signal

get a vacume--suck out the parking light hole
you'll see it all clear up
then plug up the signal hole back up
with the bulb
vacume the parking light hole a little more and then put that bulb in

VOILA!!

Hey Trust,

Little problem with a vacuum cleaner on reverse. Dust and dirt. No good man. What I am saying is not blow for a long time just cover over the high beam and blow into the low beam. Not super hard just enough to pressure check it.

Yes I had thought about people not being able to reseal the rubber seals around the headlights but if you are not competent enough to do that you shouldn't be working on cars!!!
