Ok, here you can read the issue with my motor.
http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=1027569&highlight=

At the end the coolant and oil mixing never went away. So, we took out the motor again, this time the whole motor came out and discover that two of the sleeves were bad.

This is my set up:

K20A ITR Head
K20A ITR Block with Darton Sleeves
Eagle Rods
Wiseco Pistons 87MM 11.7:1

This is my DD, so i need it back on the road ASAP. I check with the guy who did the sleeve work and he said that the block is fixable....they can replace the sleeves, but it will cost me around $800. I will fix it down the road but right now my budget did not allow me to do it.

So, now the questions.

I have a k20z3 block without internals, can i use all of my k20a internals in that block?

Can i safely bore the stock K20z3 sleeves to 87mm??

Any suggestion will be welcome.

Pushing it pretty good. Manual states factory not to go past 86.25 but we all know factory ratings are always low for the safe side. I've seen plenty of guys running 86.5 but not to many running 87 on stock sleeves. Doesn't mean it's not possible. But I've never tried it so I can't speak from experience. Good luck either way. Sucks you had sleeving issues.

Yeah it sucks, guess that my only option right now is to use the Z3 block bored to 87mm. I was doing some searching and it looks like the internals can be used.
yeah I know you can do it. Just how long it would last. But luckily this is a short term solution.

What would you recommend me to change in the process? New piston rings? Seals? timing chain tensioner?
All the rods, main bearings, pistons, crank shaft are in good conditions.
Well I'd never reuse any of the bearings... I'd at least replace those. I have reused piston rings if they were all in spec and good condition. And timing chain tensioner should be find to also reuse.

Random question and please dont flame me, i know that Kpro is a must, but can i just slam a k24a1 block with the k20a head without kpro?? I just receive a call from one of my friends and he got one k24a1 block in perfect conditions.
Never mind i just found this thread.
