Hi Everyone, I am about to start campaigning my RSX in it's second season of endurance racing here in the Pacific Northwest.
I joined this forum because it still looks to be very active. Building and refining a race car creates a lot of leftover parts (new and used) as plans change and things get swapped. So as a result I have a lot of parts to sell that I will post in the classified. I have not had good luck selling through Facebook marketplace.

The car runs a K24 with a built cylinder head and stock bottom end, 6-speed RSX-S transmission with an OS Giken LSD (still FWD), custom CV axles, big front brakes, and on and on and on. It is a dedicated race car, which means full cage, fire suppression, fuel cell, and lots and lots of custom work. It basically gets overhauled after every race as the team thinks of ways to improve it.
RSX's are not a popular car for road racing, mostly due to the screwy suspension design. But I believe we are close to optimizing the suspension to it's max potential. Personally I like the car, and it is fast enough to keep up and pass 90 percent of the field. So I will keep with it a few more years.

I also have a 2003 RSX base model/auto for my daughter who is learning how to drive.

Look for my For-Sale posts!

Welcome, I believe I got your half shaft you had for sale on Marketplace a few months ago. Wicked ride, would love to know more about your suspension set up and what is done there.
Glad you could use it! I have more parts!
The suspension on the race car is ever-evolving, but most of the effort is toward gripping up the front and getting the rear to rotate more.
Tires are a 235/40/17 all around. But I will be testing with 225 on the rear this coming spring.
Stock type-s front swaybar, Eibach rear swaybar (sometimes we disconnect it depending on track conditions).
Coilovers are FEAL 441 with 12k front springs and 18k rear, damping to match springs rates. We are still playing with adjustments.
The front strut towers have been modified where the struts bolt in, see pic. I moved the strut tops back and inward to give it more caster and more negative camber. I just installed a steering rack from a 2006 and put a slider from SHG in it. Also just installed a PCI roll center steering rod kit. OEM hydraulic power steering. Ktuned extended ball joints.
Front control arms are stock but with offset sphericals from PCI, which also give more caster. Rear just has camber arms and sphericals in the knuckle in place of the OEM rubber bushings.

All in all, the single biggest improvement was getting as much positive caster as possible in the front and being able to run -3.5 camber . That made a HUGE difference and the car now has tons of grip mid-corner.
Coming out of corners, acceleration would lag due to the OEM Civic Si LSD. So this winter I am putting an OS Giken plate style LSD that should help that corner exit acceleration.

In the next few months, I may be switching to MCS suspension.... still in talks on that.

Overall it is coming along really nicely and the K24 has proven to be a very reliable powerplant.

Just installed the PCI tie rods and a 05-06 steering rack, so looking forward to seeing what impact those have.
The body of the car has been modified and the strut tops have been relocated for better alignment settings, so I cant use any of the off the shelf RSX camber plates, its all custom stuff.
