Hi Everyone, I am about to start campaigning my RSX in it's second season of endurance racing here in the Pacific Northwest.
I joined this forum because it still looks to be very active. Building and refining a race car creates a lot of leftover parts (new and used) as plans change and things get swapped. So as a result I have a lot of parts to sell that I will post in the classified. I have not had good luck selling through Facebook marketplace.
The car runs a K24 with a built cylinder head and stock bottom end, 6-speed RSX-S transmission with an OS Giken LSD (still FWD), custom CV axles, big front brakes, and on and on and on. It is a dedicated race car, which means full cage, fire suppression, fuel cell, and lots and lots of custom work. It basically gets overhauled after every race as the team thinks of ways to improve it.
RSX's are not a popular car for road racing, mostly due to the screwy suspension design. But I believe we are close to optimizing the suspension to it's max potential. Personally I like the car, and it is fast enough to keep up and pass 90 percent of the field. So I will keep with it a few more years.
I also have a 2003 RSX base model/auto for my daughter who is learning how to drive.
Look for my For-Sale posts!
