you have to run k-pro, you don't have an option and the crank will be fine

Hey Im buying a k20a2 head and gonna put it on the ep dont really care that its goin on the a3 block just want to make a little extra power. So my question is, if I put the a2 head on my stock a3 block can i run reflash I dont feeel like spending an extra 400 on k pro due to im gonna sell the care prob within the next 4 months. Also can my crank handle the rev limiter being raised to 7,700rpms. If there is anything else I would need let me know thanks.

if you're selling the car in four months, why even bother? four months will fly. the cash is burning a hole in your pocket?
well thats just a rough estimate see the car has 130000 miles on itand kkb for about 7500 I still 11k on it so I figure maybe keep the car for awhile has some fun with it then maybe find someone who wants it with some mods.
It'll be twice as hard to sell a car with that head swap. It's a total waste IMO

i wouldn't go past 7, Just to be safe. You have to worry about the bottom end more then the heads.
why not just keep the car and replace the whole motor???
The reflash has been out for a while, if the motors can't handle it then they would have changed it by now, but for what it's worth I wouldn't waste your money. You're not going to notice much gain and its a big chunk of change for another 500 rpm's.ok then maybe just keep it stock put some bolt on on it.
