63"
Won't do you any good without some sort of tensioner.

the 62.2 gatorback worked decent w/ a 3.0'' pulley for me. it will work a little better with your 3.2''. definitely go with a 62.2 over the 63. it'll be a much much much tighter fit, but it works way better. remember when you're installing the 62.2, you have to remove the SC pulley, wrap the belt around it, then curse a lot, and put the sc pulley back on. make sure you dont damage any parts. ;)

good luck
is there really gains with removing powersteering? what about the a/c?
I'm not going to use power steering on my setup. I need the A/C though, can't live without that!

Have you tried the string method?

8-10 whp and if you're supercharged the ability to significantly lower you pulley size to pick up another 30-50 whp without the belt slipping. That said most people who have done it have said it's one of the best mods they've done.
how is the driving w/o powersteering? Never driven a car w/o one....
It sucks.

F***ing suck ass!!!!! I cant even make a full u-turn like i used to. Now I have to back up to complete a U-Turn lol. and Oh, driving in the rain without power steering is a NO NO. Trust me I had a close call last night when i went over a lil puddle of water and it make my car slid..kidna scary.

EDIT: Slid, Skid..whatever. Its a NO NO still.

another 30-50whp just from removing power steering? is this serious here or a joke :run:
What I think he means is that you can free up a few horses by getting rid of the power steering and using a smaller pulley w/o worrying about belt slip as you would have before.

30-50hp though...:uduhh: I don't think so

:iamwiths: That's what I meant. 50's definitely a long shot. I'm actually thinking 30's not too much of a stretch though. Isn't it around 10hp per 1 lb of boost? I only went from around 7.5 psi to 8 psi going 3.3" pulley down to 3.1". I couldnt tighten it enough to prevent it from slipping and so tuning my WOT has been a bitch so I was fairly conservative up top. Took off power steering and first day I hit 10 psi but I also then went to the 02-04 cp and today I hit 12psi. It feels very strong. I'll know for sure in a month or so because I'm going to be headed out to PA again to have Jeff Evans tune on the dyno with my recent upgrades and the nitrous. I'm hoping for 14millions bajillion jiggawatts to the lug nuts.
anyone have steps to remove stock power steering stuff? my power steering hose blew a while back and i've been driving w/o power steering. i'm pretty much used to it so i wouldn't mind removing it if it's not much work.
bump for answer
I should be attempting this tomorrow.
I'll see what I can come up with.
