I replaced my my clutch now my car won’t start any ideas? I went back through and checked all wires of damage and made sure they were connected and clean as well as the ground on the bell housing. I tested spark after new plugs and it was good but the car didn’t wanna start. It was trying to backfire through the cai, I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and still nothin Any help would be appreciated!!
In the car just cranks it will not start, it backfires through the cai on occasion when trying to start it. No lights. Yes I used a clutch alignment tool, as this is not the first clutch iv done, but the first one on this car iv done.
Check your starter, alternator, battery, injectors, plugs, and coil packs. Check over one system at a time till you figure it out you probably just forgot to install a ground properly when putting the transmission back on.
Iv checked all of the above one at a time And there’s only one ground wire, it is connected to the bellhousing that comes from the negative battery terminal other that that I didn’t disconnect anything other than the air intake sensor and the 3 sensors on the bellhousing.
Check the rubber piece that push your clutch pedal sensor.
