Replacing every wire in engine bay?

455 Views 11 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  delacruzzach12
Let's say there is no wiring in the engine bay, no headlight wiring, no radiator wiring or no engine harness, or anything, where would I buy all this?
..I see aftermarket engine harnesses.. and charge harnesses.
But what is everything else called.
Where would I purchase literally all wiring that belongs in the engine bay.??

A junkyard that has a scrapped RSX would be a good place to check.

Or if your lucky and you find one that is already pristine/good condition, ebay.

If you want to get a tucked engine harness, RYWIRE is a great place to look for his milspec style harnesses
Is there not like oem parts I can buy?
Buy all new wiring..
I've searched and I find nothing at all
..
Anyone ?

The only place you can buy the new harnesses from is a dealership or an Acura parts website. It's 2023 though, and most parts are discontinued or out of stock. You'll be lucky if you can find anything.

The newest RSX you could have at this point is 17 years old. A 2002 is 20+ years old. And remember that these cars were produced in far fewer numbers than the Civics and Accords of the same era. A lot of the OEM stuff is no longer being produced.

Does this harness just cover the engine? Or engine and headlights and radiator, alternator?

So may I ask why you're needing this?

This car was sitting for a while, and I'm assuming rats.. ate through quite a bit of wiring.

Take it apart and rewire all yourself. There's free diagrams online.
