Since I just upgraded my turbo I was thinking of doing a return fuel line. So this is what I was thinking of doing:

Existing line leave alone as the feed
Run a new line for the return from the FPR

Here is my question:

I was thinking to drill a hole in the top of the gas tank right next to the opening for the fuel pump. Then install a 90degree connector to it. And the return line would connect to it and just dump the fuel back into the tank.

has anyone ever did this or think there would be any issues??

I did not have to modify my fuel pump cage for my new pump so i did not want to modify it for a return line.

ok thanks. Actually what I was originally thinking was putting the connection right into the tank, not the top of the fuel pump housing like you have it. Like where I have the X

I guess either way will work though.

you don't want to drill a hole in the tank. If you drill it, chances are shit would end up falling in the and it would suck trying to get it cleaned out. besides that, if you happen to fuck it up, its way cheaper and easier to replace the pump assembly than the gas tank.
