I just did my tie rods and I couldn’t torque them because of this too. I ended up sniffing them by hand with an adjustable wrench. When I was trying to find the size a while back, I had a 29mm crows foot that felt a bit tight and didn’t quite fit. I bet it is a 30,31mm.

I myself hate those stupid crow's feet wrenches, I went out and bought a set that I was told would help with a few bolts to get them off easily well to say the least those The whole set 65.00 bucks worth of crow's feet and short sockets are in a Landfill somewhere in Northern California where they belong!!! The most useless freakin tool I have ever seen or used in My life!!!!

Well they are used to torque down certain fitting where a line fits in where a normal socket can’t fit. Or they are used to take of bolts that are in a tight place. They also sell fries getting that are a flare nut shape. Maybe this was the kind you needed?
