running w/o a donut gasket

is it dangerous to run without a donut gasket between the b-pipe and the muffler? the one i had was burnt to a crisp and no autozone carried one. it's currently have the b-pipe and muffler on the car but it's running with a half a gasket. now the car sounds louder almost like a wrx kinda.

it's a greddyevo2, what size gasket would fit it? gonna order one from the crsx store also like i asked would it be safe to run it for a week or so?

i have one for sale. its a bit used but its 99% there. i can sell it to you if you want..its genuine honda part so itll fit without a problem..let me know..

youll loose some power because of loss backpressure without the gasket and itll sound like shit

lulz wrong, you'll gain power with an exhaust leak because there is less restriction. Back pressure was only relevant on B-series and the only thing it's really good for on the K-series is slightly better engine response but you'll lose power. You need to find the right mix but you'll always be sacrificing something for something else.

It will sound like ass though.

what size exhaust is the greddy evo2? Just get under the car with a ruler, pop the b-pipe apart from the muffler (not all the way off the car) and just measure the inner diameter there and then get the corresponding gasket.

Looks to me like you want the 2.25" gasket.

I ordered the 2.0" and the 2.5".

the 2.5 should work. 2" is probably going to be too small and might end up covering some of the exhaust piping inside. Let us know.
just buy the one from honda and u wont have a problem... pmed
