I've just been wondering what would handle better in slippery or icey/snowy conditions. A fwd with no traction control like a Rsx or a rwd car with traction control.

Whichever had better tires.
i put snow tires on my fwd civic a few years ago and it makes a world of difference. i'd say comparable to my wife's 4wd wrangler with regular tires. makes me think that with awd and snow tires you could drive in any snowy condition.

I drove my civic in the snow with little issues when I was in Chicago for school. Another person I knew had a BMW 325 and had traction issues. So therefore to me, I think FWD is better than RWD in the snow. Traction control or not, I feel you can control that with your right foot.
