I decided to remove my rear window wiper and cap it off. I got a steel door filler from Dixieline lumber. Since I didn't want a chrome cap, I roughed up the chrome with some sandpaper and put a couple of layers of rustoleum Gloss Black paint on it. That was the hardest part of this little adventure. Next I ripped the interior moldings off the rear lid and pulled the wiper motor out. I used some door and window caulking to seal both sides of the door filler and screwed it down. Buffed up the filler once it was secured and wiped up any excess caulking. Here are some pics.
