I've had an issue with the SRS light on my Type S that I bought used several months ago.
The code coming up on the light was a faulty seatbelt buckle. Acura installed a new buckle and tensioner (under warranty), and then notified me that the reason the light is still on is that the floor wire harness has been cut and I need a new one.
This could be possible as the car was previously stolen and recovered.
Unfortunately the list price on this wire harness is about $450 plus 5 hours labor.
What exactly is the floor wiring harness? Is it a common part that is being parted out? Am I likely gonna be stuck buying a new harness?
