Is it even anywhere possible? To mod our dash-boards so that when we turn on the power of our car, the needle would swing (just like the STi) ?

IMO no...
that's a built-in function of the gauge cluster of the STI

Jamwong,

When you first turn on the STI, all the needles swing up to their topmost setting and then back down.

U think that is sweet. I saw a vid of the RX-8 dash, and the lights start of sequentially, and there is a intro sound like cell phones. That is pimp. And i think the tachometer swings up to max as well. Really nice looking.

My dad's 1999 Chevrolet Express 3500 series Cargo Van does this same exact thing. Who gives a crap. Looks cool, yes, but why risk messing other things up? Unless there is a completely full proof method, than i dont see the worth.
