Sorry if this is too off topic, but I was just wondering if it's safe to use Lexol on my leather jacket? It's great for the car, but how 'bout a coat? The bottle says, "not recommended for suede or glove soft leather" - I'm guessing that includes leather jackets, but I figured I'd run it by the knowledgeable folks here to be sure.

my gf has used it on your leather hand bags without a problem. test it out on a small area in the inside of your jacket

Best thing for a leather jacket is some saddle soap.

Wonder how that works on car leather.

if you have a tough leather jacket, I am sure its ok. My leather jackets are by andrew marc, which uses very soft leather that probably would not react too well to something like lexol

most modern day leather seats are coated with vinyl. Saddle soap tends to dry out leather, and is not recommended for coated leathers.

:dontknow: It's kept my leather bomber jacket nice and supple for a good 10 years now.
