What's going on, gents?

Hope everyone is safe & healthy during these times. I've been working for home with the wife and kids. I have a whole new appreciation for teachers. Trying to teach 3rd grade and 1st grade has been definitely a challenge while trying to still put in 40 hours of work.

A lot of other things has happened since 2020 started. Grandmother in law passed, wrok travel fr the first 2 months, evicted a tenant for breaching lease. Trying to get my rental property renovated and back on the rental market by May.

Today, I was able to unseize the RSX motor, but it only turns about 1/4 rotation back and forth at the crank. Plan is to tow it to my Indy shop once I situate my rental house. Can't go too long without a renter

How’s everyone doing? Been thinking about this thread lately lol. I’m stuck at home, working from home, but also just had a newborn so it’s hard to find time... despite being here all day.
Good Sir. Congrats on the newborn. I definitely remember those days and it's a lot of work. Definitely enjoy it though because they grow quickly.

Oh man. Good to hear from you. I’m sorry to hear about your grandmother in law. I didn’t know your RSX motor was seized... I must have missed it in the comments.

My RSX has been sitting for about a year and a half. I parked it for winter 2018 and started working on random things that I never put back together. A year ago, I started a bathroom remodel. And then I went to Missouri for an Army course for 6 months... the bathroom is still a WIP. I also have a newborn so it’s indefinitely a WIP.

I now daily a well used 2014 Fiesta ST though! Hope everyone stays safe.

Thanks man! Yeah, it's been tough on the family, but wife is good now. Hydrolocked my motor in October 2019 with my AEM pump spraying at start up.

With a little one, it's definitely hard to get projects done. Just try to set little goals to reach to the end... You'll get it done ?

Also, love the STs man. Fun rides for sure

Appreciate it man. Working from home has its ups and downs. I do feel bad for a lot of businesses who are struggling now in this current environment.

We're a rare breed... I think I'm 1 of 2 people who still have a S/C RSX in my city lol. It's my motivation to get it back up and running again.

You are correct, we are a rare breed. I believe I have the only S/C RSX in my area as well. What's interesting is that it still draws attention after all these years.

Off topic - radar detectors. Between my sons and I we've used several different radar detectors over the years like the Escort RedLine & Max 360, Uniden R3 & R7, and the Radenso Pro-M. Currently I am using the Valentine 1 gen-2 paired with the JBV1 phone app. That combination is a great tool that provides detailed information and also has good BSM filtration.

The Rotrex supercharger is a rare breed. At one time I thought about it but decided that I couldn't live without AC. There is an old post on this site that might be helpful.

I think I've read just about every thread on here about a rotrex, and I didn't have a/c from when I swapped the k24 in so I just went with it. I deleted the heater hoses as well so no heat but it won't be a dd. I would love to get some ideas on suffecient enough fuel setups for 325-375hp. I've read alot, but alot is contradicting and outdated info and I cant come up with the CORRECT way to run a return line without running lean and not picking up fuel past 1/3 tank. I have a dw65c pump and ID1050x injectors. I'm not sure what kind of pressure cut I'll see at partial or WOT without fpr and return. Anyone have any thoughts?

Sorry let me clarify I'm not having the issues yet lol, but I'm installing the kraftwerks race kit now along with the pump (dw65c) and injectors (ID1050x) and fuel rail just wondering if I can get by without a return line. I think the stock setup can cut fuel pressure at wot from too high of pressure with no external regulator or something along them lines. But I've also read about running lean from running a return incorrectly and the pump not picking up fuel under a 1/3 tank, so I'd like to avoid the return if I can. Really I'm just wondering what fuel setups anyone has run successfully and at what hp

Just today. someone else on another posting asked about a return fuel line system. Back when VitViper was working on my E85 tune, he recommended that I upgrade my fuel system to ensure that the engine didn't starve for fuel at the upper rpm range. To make a long story short, I told the other posting that by the end of this week I would provide an update on details that made my setup a reliable system.

Sorry about being redundant between the two postings. You are correct, one key detail is to increase the port size of the return jet.
