What are the symptoms associated with a clutch slave or master cylinder going out? I have a problems where my car chirps/squeeks when the clutch is out in nuetral and at low speeds in 1st gear. It's tough to get in gear sometimes too but if I pump the clutch a time or two it will get in the right spot. This is much ass-pain. :run:

sounds like it is the throwout bearing... could always be the shift fork causing the throwout bearing to do things. throwout bearings are generally associated with squeeks and hard engagements, or not disengaging a gear.

It does all of the above: squeeks and is hard to engage/disengage the clutch! I have been suspicious of the clutch fork for some time now just because my clutch has vibration in if you look at the tranny where the fork is you can see it kind of bounce. I just want to be able switch gears with vigor again. Thanks for the help.
