T1R Power 63mm Exhaust

Hey, I'm in a dilemma here, so I was hoping if someone could help me out. I'm had my mind set on getting the HKS hi-power, BUT then, I heard the T1R Power...and...now I dunno :dontknow:

They both sound amazing, but hks is a little more common, and that burning lip issue is bleh (although it can be taken care of).

Basically just wondering if anyone has the T1R exhaust and can give me some more info on it. Flaws?

I love it.

I ordered mine about 3 months ago, and it's finally getting delivered on Thursday. Can't wait.

It's also discontinued (replaced with the Power 70), so it might be tough to find.

I'm sure if you email some companies they may have some final units just laying around.

wow sounds nice. sounds just like the stock exhaust but louder. well, thats how i heard it or at least thats what it sounds like to me.

I dunno if it sounds like stock...but I hear a deep roaring monster, and when idling, that sound is [email protected]%$#...:drool:

put some headphones on guys, and full blast it! yeyuh...

I have the 63mm T1R catback, but since I've had the RH and cams installed I can't take the loudness. Let me just tell you it sounds nothing like stock. It's very deep. Before I had the RH it sounded really nice. Clean deep sound and not too loud. The tone after the vtec crossover is very distinguished, as it changes from a deep sound to a higher pitched scream. With a RH it is loud and the sound is raspy at higher RPMs. I have the axleback for sale, but maybe selling the b-pipe too once I get a custom exhaust built for my setup.

I have a BCRH sitting around and will have it installed AFTER the exhaust...only because I wanna hear the difference.

But the loudness is expected. Not many exhausts run too quietly with RHs.

I pretty sure I can get my hands on one of these, but before I purchase one, I was wondering if anyone knew how loud the T1R power is in comparison to others?

I looked at the exhaust loudness list already in this forum, and seems to be missing there, unless I'm blind.

SO, I wanted to know if it was louder than hks hi-power, quieter than apex'i N1 or whatever the case.

I think it's right in the middle.

Pretty quiet at low rpms, but a pretty good rumble at WOT.

damn, you reply fast. I just noticed the tip was titanium burnt with the blue....fuck, I have a dsm rsx. That blue tip doesn't match my car colour like it does maybe for a blue rsx, black rsx, even white....

you think I could make the tip just all silver? I heard once its burnt blue, you can't go back on colour.

I expect a reply in approx. 2 min from Game...

Ya I'm on here to much.

Anyways, ya the tip is titanium. It's not that big of a deal though...or in my opinion anyways.

I've heard the exhaust in person, it sounds amazing! Especially when paired with a Race Header. The only gripe I have is that it leaves a lot of brownish crap on your rear bumper. Like 2-3 inches! It doesn't burn it though like the HKS. Honestly I've heard HKS on a NA and Boosted RSX and imo it sounds like shit. Totally not a fan of it. The burning is a huge issue as well.

Then again my PG burns my Mugen Rear lip and it's not known to do that lol

Yea, I was in love with the hks hi-power, but then I heard this...much like what I said when I made this thread. The HKS sounds amazing when you first start the engine, but then at WOT, it gets a little...higher pitched...but don't get me wrong, hks is still up there in my list. Just reminds me of people like mike tyson, tim duncan, david beckham etc. They look crazy, good whatever, but when they open their mouths, they sound like little boys, and its all over for them.

I just wished it was deep throughout every rpm.

had it for 5 months, with BCRH and CAI, sounds awesome... not loud at all for a DD, but WOT it screams nicely.. but not high pitched or ricey at all. all the build quality is absolutely amazing. get what ya pay for.
