Our entry is in. I'll try to keep everyone informed regarding our preparations. The engine swap should be completed next week, the K24A2 has been treated to a stage 2 clutch, lightened flywheel, BRC intake and many other mods. After dyno tune we hope to acheive 250 WHP. A tall order but hey, ya gotta set your goal high :)

I will be in Category 7, small capacity, prepared to level 3 (highest prep) due to the K24A2 motor, which is 20% larger capacity K series.

Suspension....
B&G lower springs, front + rear strut bars, and rear lower tie bar.

Engine held in with Ingalls TD, solid motor mounts.

The chassis has front strut bar and C-pillar bar. I will be installing an Autopower bolt-in roll cage because I want to be able to remove the side bars and use it as a daily driver.

Running the Targa division I take it? Or are you caging a GT car for safety?

Out of curiousity, have you run this race before?

Yes, running Targa division. I have indeed competed in this event before, winning GT class in 2006 and taking second in 2007. Both times in a Shelby Cobra. My navigator insisted that next time we have a roof; Newfoundland is a wet, wet place :)
