It seems like all of us have snapped this off at one point or another and usually, it causes panic because it is often the first piece we actually broke, ourselves, while working on our RSX's. It is Idle Air-assist Valve and is the the tee-shaped plastic tree which sits atop the coolant neck on the cylinder head, like so...

How it usually looks when we create our panicked thread...

First, relax: This is easy to fix. The purpose of the IAAV is to speed up the introduction of warm air into the inlet tract of car and thereby, allow the engine to warm up faster in cold weather. If you feel the need to replace this with an OEM part, Honda includes it as part of the whole water outlet assembly (PN 19350-PRB-A00), which is about $115. Like many "warmup" features on the K-motor, it is not really necessary but you will need to do a couple of things if you break it off. The first is to remove the grey rubber U-shaped tube...

..and then cap the now-exposed hose barb in the intake manifold...

..with a commonly available vacuum cap. Once that is done, you would likewise want to cap the small barb on your air cleaner intake pipe (what the other branch of the tee went to) and then you are done. You can simply leave the broken off valve in place or if you want to plug it more cleanly, companies such as K-Tuned sell "delete kits" which include a threaded fitting and vacuum cap.

Alternately, you use a standard brass 3/8" NPT pipe plug with some Hondabond to plug the hole. The Metric fitting is close enough that this will work as well. Best of luck with it.
