How much WHP should one expect with:

Toda cams/springs
Hondata reflash for Toda cams
AEM cai
Comptech racing header
Comptech cat-back exhaust
ITR intake manifold

+ Falken Azenis tires on stock rims
+ minor weight reduction (no rear seat, no sub, no spare tire)

Anyone with a dyno chart for just the specs above? I know Edo has tons of dyno's .... but they are for tons of mods.

You are looking at about 210-215 whp. As far as the dyno charts, look at the misc. dyno link

my friend DROC on the forums pulled a 13.7 @ 103 with that exact setup, minus the weight reduction.

Id shoot myself in the face if I did not high 13's with all that

I wonder how much extra the weight reduction gives you on the dyno :dontknow:

The extra weight gives you absolutely nothing. haha

I agree with JD, if someone runs a high 13 with that setup, they need to sell the car instantly and buy an auto.

How about:

Toda cams/springs

Injen CAI (in)
Jackson Racing race header (on order)
Borla 2.5" catback exhaust (on order)
Falken Azenis on stock rims (on order)


Will I be able to break 13.6 ?? Maybe .. with some real good driving ??

It's definately possible. I've seen very low 14's with just intake, exhaust, tires, and hondata.

This will be my set up as of next monday
-Injen CAI
-Comptech Race Header
-Hayame Cat-Back
-HKS EarthCircle
-Hondata #4
-Exedy Stage 2 Clutch
-Exedy Stage 2 Fly
-Phantom Grip LSD
WEIGHT REDUX:
-Sparco race seats (15lbs. per)
-No rear seats
-No sub/floor mats
-No spare tires
-CF hood

What #'s do you think i would have broth HP and track wise? i cant wait to get it all done. Also what would you do next?

Some sort of cams. Toda or Type R are your only choices at the moment. I'd hold off till something with better gains than toda and cheaper than toda comes out.

Anybody want to trade me for their auto?:laughing: Traction becomes a serious problem with the toda cams. Look at my setup. I haven't hit 13's yet. That will all change this spring once my tranny is built up. I'm gettin quaife lsd, toda clutch/flywheel and itr final drive installed next month:thumbsup:

what tires and wheels do you have?

you should be able to hit some 13s with the stock wheels and tires, and few guys on here have.

DROC hit a [email protected] with almost the exact same setup as you, but he had stock rims with falken azenis.

Does anyone else think 210 is low for I/H/E/Toda Kit?

swwifty, why doesn't DROC post his times? Not happy with them?

210 on a dynojet , or dynapack?

I think he is happy with them, just doesn't really care what everyone else has. I think he is gonna get some slicks then post his times.

Well, dyno jets give lower numbers right? I have seeing plenty of I/H/E?hondata dynos over 200whp......I would hope that the toda cames gave more then 5-10whp.

yeah dynojets give lower numbers. Dynapacks typically read 10-20whp higher from what I've seen.

Where did you see someone dynoed with 210whp with the Toda Engine kit?

What really matters is what gains you see.

Did you see my before and after dyno with the Type-R cams? According to it I only gained 4hp. I'm beginning to not trust dynos at all because I noticed a nice gain with the Type-R cams.

I'd say you'd be close to 200whp on a dynojet. You should run if your a good driver high 13s probably.

Next, I'd save up for some cams. I'd hold out a bit longer to see if any other cams come out, if not I'd go with the Toda N2 cams.
