So I'm looking at the ones and zeros on the hondata sticker thinking "I wonder if that spells HONDATA in binary ASCII ?" So I look more carefully and see that the first four digits are "0110". Well an ASCII 'H' starts with "0100" so I guess not. Later I realize that it could be lower case. Yeah it's "01101000.01101111.01101110.01100100.01100001.01110100.01100100" = "hondatd" So they misspelled their own name in binary. Hope the paid more attention to the ECU code !

01101000 01101111 01101110 01100100 01100001 01110100 01100100 converts to:

hondatd
That is correct. I wonder if the person that made the sticker just copied over the code for d instead of a. They might have been looking at the code for the wrong letter and just misspelled it as hondatd.
