Drill holes

I got the same wing from the same guy and they fit great in the oem holes. They are on the hatch there should be some circles on the inside just take a 1/4 drill bit and drill them out. then place the wing on the other side and screw them in. All done.

can you give more details?

there were holes in the spoiler already on the bottom,

it looks like they were supposed to fit perfectly in the oem wing holes

i put the wing on there and i couldnt get the holes to match up perfectly

waht did you do with the lil velvet sticky pad thingymabob?

I drill from the top using the supplied T-stripe thing. The hole I drilled did not match the OEM marks perfectrly. If you already have holes and they don't match, just make the hole a big bigger.

email from RON @ Trimking1

Hi
All you need to do is;
-Install one screw into the spoiler throught the hatch.
-Do not tighten
-The spoiler is flexible so you can move the spoiler to the holes till they line
up and then screw them
-Do this one hole at a time and you will be fine.
-If you have a pointed object you can put through the hole this will help pull
the spoiler to where you want it.
We have sold alot of these spoilers as well as installed them and it works
fine.
If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to call our toll free

The rubber pads you stick to the bottom of the spoiler.

does he mean the rubber pads are supposed to stay underneath the spoiler when i put it in??? omgwtfbbq!

yeah, those pads go on the bottom of the spoiler, keeps it from rubbing the paint on paint as well as sealing it so no water gets in. There are hole marks in the hatch for the OEM spoiler I started from under and drilled to break through to the top, then came down to finish the hole. This way if the paint cracks or I get jaggies its all on the inside.

Make sure the inside of your wing is clear of fiberglass so the bolts go all the way in.. I had to re-tap mine.

You should have gotten an instruction packet with the spoiler that tells you what size to make the holes. If not take some drill bits and match it up to the screw then go a size bigger and you should be fine.
