We changed the clutch in this car a couple weeks ago (NOT a fun job!). Transmission was filled with Pennzoil manual tranny fluid. Transmission shifts like butter through all forward gears. Getting into reverse, though, can be a PITA. Should I rip out the battery and intake box and double check the cables and trans linkage or might this be a temporary thing? Anyone have similar trouble getting into reverse? How did you address it?

Sorry to hear about the tranny trouble, but I think your headed in the right direction. Start with the cables, you shouldn't have to remove the battery just the intake to get a good view. May also want to try switching oil to Honda MTF. These tranny's are really finicky. I once put a fluid additive, because my 2nd gear synchro was acting up, and that same day it was very hard for me to shift into all gears. Next day I flushed it and re-filled with Honda MTF, and it was good to go. Hope that helps let us know.
