i was thinking about ordering the jdm type-r intake manifold for my base rsx. i just wanted to know what u guys think about it. if its worth it, would i see good power gains. basicaly is it a good investment or should i just wait for another company to make one for the carl.
:dontknow: :dontknow:
that manifold needs big vtec cams and high rpms to work best. I think your base manifold is pretty good as it is. Compare the Type S manifold used on the 2002 Civic Si to the RSX manifold, the RSX makes more bottom end torque with the same top end power, cant be too bad.
I would rather invest in aftermarket exhaust manifold....SPOON...comes to mind they have a one piece 4-1 design or a 2 piece 4-2-1 manifold.....as for the JDM it would be a waste if you plan to place bigger cams etc...
