Type-r trans info
I was just wondering what the major differences between the usdm type-s trans and the jdm type-r trans are. If there are any ups and downs about the type-r tranny. I need a new tranny for my type-s and was thinking about just getting a itr tranny. Thanks

Do it man! You wont regret it! I had to get a new tranny in my type s and i went with the type r tranny and I love it!!!
can u feel a major difference with the lsd in the itr tranny when launching?
Yes, LSD is VERY noticeable... I was going to swap my trans with an 02-04 type r but I found that it doesn't fit an 05-06 type S. The speed sensor is magnetic on the newer trans and on the opposite side of the casing...
yea yea yea ima noob, i notice the Si 6th gear is different than the S.. stupid question time.. does this mean that at highway speed the Si is cruising at an even higher RPM than the S, which is already like 80 MPH @ 4k?
