hi, i read the thread about Bases putting in type-s exhaust system and got some small gains. i very interested in this since i dont want to spend alota money on loud exhausts with little to no power gain. what exactly are the materials i need? will the base headers and cat still work with it and make sum gains?

You will need the following parts:
Type-S header
Type-S downpipe/cat
Type-S exhaust

precation purposes also get:
Type-S manifold gasket
Type-S prechambered gasket

I do't know about Catco, but there's only one I high flow cat that I know for sure will not throw a CEl and be legal would be the one from Carsound. There's a mininum amount of gain from the swap, lathough when I did my swap I use aftermaeket parts instead of EOM Type-S parts. I can feel the RPM climbing up fatser as well as some pull in the mid to higher end. To me think would be a nice swap for the amount of money just to free up some airflow.
