thats a pretty loud injector tick. I thought you could only hear the valves by putting the screwdriver on the bolt and listening to each one?

true about the cover but that still seemed a little louder than normal. How many miles do you have on that engine?

my 02 sounds exactly the same and i'm at 66k. i'm scheduling a vavle adjustment soon. does anybody know if that effects performance or if it's dangerous for the engine if it's not taken care of quickly? yeah i'm a noob
they are loud motors, however that is louder than normal. its hard to tell in a video vs. in person. but having them adjusted wouldnt hurt esp with 80k on the motor.

Videos are hard to judge sound like Artic posted. The fact that your above 80k miles and never having the valve lash checked is reason enough to do it. With only 38k a few of mine were off.

I have 102k on my car.. its an 02 and it sounds exactly like that.. I might need to get a valve adjustment.. How much is it?
I paid $220 at Acura. They adjusted the vlaves, and changed the VC gasket. It was well worth it my gas mileage went form 290 to 360 empty to full. I jsut found out Dennis (I-Mod) can do it for $90.
Let us know if the problem gets fixed.
