So I bought a 03 Rsx-TypeS and the guy said it was a full k24 swap and got it from jdmchicago but had no receipt and has a 2.0Liter cover over the intake manifold is there any way I can verify the head and block as a k24?

Check the block near the trans. Should say k24. If it's a tsx motor the head should say rbb

K-series Identification help!!

I found a k motor in a car in the junk yard but I can't id it and I'm pretty sure it is not the original engine in this car. Where can I look on the block to id it? Its easy on the b-series it is right on the front but I haven't had much experience with the k engines. Any help would be...

so down by the trans i saw k24 RAA but on the top by the head it says rbb so idk if that checks out?

Does the block stamp have and numbers or letters after k24? Like k24a, or k24a2? Look Under the intake manifold on the right side of the block. Should look something like this.

it's kinda scuffed up at the bottom there i can barely see the 4 but after that not too sure of what it is, took some pics at the top though that says rbb

You said the guy had it imported. Probably a high comp jdm k24a. If so you're good to go! Just get her tuned, the stock map runs a little lean. Definitely don't beat on it too much without a tune.
