Hey guys.. by the end of next month i should have a CAI, Comptech race header, Hayame Exhaust, Hondata, ES Mounts, Revo SS, Tires, HKS Hyperground and Ignition wires. What elce can i do for more HP (NA Only). Please dont tell me to get tourqe dampners and suspension work for traction, that will come later. What elce can i do, what would it cost and what are reolistic gains. Also, no cams cuz i want to see the skunk 2's and TODA Bs and Cs.
also you guys think i could pull mid 13's w/that set up above?:dontknow:

ya, i plan on getting 16 or 17in mugen MF10's in the next few months

Rods, pistons, bored and tapered tb, safc, p&p, clutch, flywheel, and gears. Price varies:)

really? ppl are runnin from 14.0- to 13.8- with just hondata and CAI and tires and short shift. ill have that plus exhaust, race header, ignition wires, grounding kit, ES mounts.

i dont get it... the guys got a point. Poeple are running or have runned high 13's with just CAI and hondata. He's adding more HP with the header and exhaust (which will work together to net more HP), and he's going to put more power down with the ES mounts. I think if he's a good driver he could have a shot at mid 13's.

mid 13's. dude look in the 1/4 mile drag forum. look at my mods if i hit 13.9 that would be a shot in the dark. I hit 14.5 with a 2.4 60ft cause i was spinning so that's good for a 14.3 it was 85 out and really humid so figure that in too. there ain't no way he is hitting a 13.5 w/ those mods. you would need type R cams , IM and a k20a reflash to be in the 13's consitantlly. TRUST ME !!!

big difference in a 2.1 60 and a 2.4 in the ET. TRUST ME !! its not linear, you cant drive a 2.4 60 and get a say 14.5 and then get a 2.1 60 and get a 14.3. that much of a differnce could net up to .5 off on the ET, if not more. Ur right though if you look at the 1/4 times of poeple and their mods .. you will see that some have hit high 13's with just intake and hondata. Temperature and humidity are irrelevent to what the car COULD do. assume in perfect conditions with an accomplished driver (hence the 2.1 60) and he could pull mid 13's ... its been proven already. Stop being so damn pessimistic.

dude only edo has borken mid 13's. a 13.7 is not mid 13's. I belive they have cams too. Well if it could knock off .5 off my ET then shit I would be ok w/ that but that's yet to be seen. I'm not PESSIMISTIC I'm REALISTIC !!!! big difference. no one has hit mid 13's yet and produced a time slip w/ a CAI and Hondata. or any rof of that it's all talk. Prove me wrong!!! Your not taking off 2 seconds with an intake and ECU. most really good drivers can hit mid 15's low 15's stock at best. Not removing everything but the driver's side seat, if you do that then it's a differnt car.

i said high 13's not mid... but i think were talkin about some differnent stuff or something ... lets make some things clear. I think its perfectly realistic to say and with some cases to back it up that people CAN hit low 14's HIGH 13's with just intake and hondata. Agree? good! Now, with that established clearly i think it wouldnt be to UNREALISTIC to say that with adding a race header and full cat-back exhaust along with ES mounts to get more power to the ground that you couldnt hit mid 13's (13.4-13.6, however i think it would be limited to a 13.6 but the deabte about whats mid or high 13's is childish ). That is however, also stamped with a disclaimer that you had a good driver, favorable conditions, and an OPTIMISTICALLY REALISTIC attitude.
