The sum of the individual pieces are not the same as the sum of their parts. Hondata claims 15hp, CAI is good for 10, cams another 5 = 30 extra hp, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Those 'gains' are from a stock RSX, and the gains you get from one mod will overlap to another. Sorry, that's just how it works.

No no no! If you get Hondata by itself, that is fine. But if you get the ITR cams, you really need the ITR flash or Kpro to utilize them properly.

Cams alone do not determine your max redline. Your valve train, stroke, and bore play far more important roles.

The K20A engine (which has essentially the same valve train has the USDM K20A2) has an 8600rpm rev limiter, so feel fairly safe going to that. Beyond that, you take some risks.

ITR cams (new) cost around $550. Used, you'll probably find them around $300. Remember that ITR cams without the ITR reflash (or K-Pro) is pretty pointless.
